Organelle Interaction

Regulates various cellular metabolism and physiology of the organism

Cellular Organelles

A cell consists of various subcellular organelles.  They are specialized objects that have a specific function and are orchestrated to play their own role and regulate cellular function and growth in a cell system.

Organelle Interaction

Cell organelles communicate with each other through protein-protein interaction(PPI) and exchange molecular messengers such as reactive oxygen species(ROS) or metallic ions. This is called 'organelle interaction' and it regulates various signaling pathways and cellular metabolism.  It has been widely reported that impairment of organelle interaction has been related to various diseases such as cancer, metabolic diseases and neurodegenerative disorders.

Then how can organelle interaction be regulated?
